The melody for this track started as a lullaby I wrote for my first child, Sarah. I repurposed it to be about all the times I've had to leave home for my work. For some reason, night flights always feel a little melancholy, but I like to think about still actually feeling someone, even after you've left..

Words and Music by Tom Keating
I’ll Remember When
Blue lights fading on the runway now
As I fly away, leave this place and memories behind
Will I take a drink, yeah I think I might
I Want to ride this plane into the cold blue night
and see what I can find
I have to just move on
I’ll Have to try again
But I know one thing
That I’ll remember when
We spent our summer by the river
I love how music lights up your brown eyes
I still feel kisses soft as moon light
On my skin…………..
Cold stars staring from a cloudless sky
Seem to look right through
You know they watch me cry
When I think of you
I don’t know if a thousand miles
Will be enough to find my smile
when I think of you
I have to just move on
Till I don’t know when
But I know one thing
I’ll be back again …
We spent our summer by the river
I love how music lights up your brown eyes
I still feel kisses soft as moon light
On my skin…………..
