When I wrote this I was thinking how for me, time stands still in memories. I still think of Lori and I as if we were still young. I think of my children, not as the adults they are, but maybe somewhere around 12 years old. Love endures and if we're lucky and work at it, grows stronger over the years.

I know sometimes you’re thinking After all this time
A B7 E
You wonder if I feel the same if I’ll ever change my mind

Its been a road of ups and downs But there’s one thing that I know
A C#m7 D E7 A
I’ll stay right here with you Till its time to go

Time has gone by faster than we thought
D B7 E7
But look at all the good times all these years have brought

Hand in hand we’ll walk along as the sun goes down real slow
A C#m7 D
And I’ll stay right here with you
A C#m7 D
I’ll stay right here with you
A C#m7 D
I’ll stay right here with you

Time stands still in memories as the years go by
I still love the music that sparkles in your eyes.
One by one stars come out As the sun goes down real slow
I’ll stay right here with you until it’s time to go
Time has gone by faster than we thought
But look at all the good times all these years have brought
Hand in hand we’ll walk along as the sun goes down real slow
